Building Electrification Could Add Hundreds Of Millions Of Batteries To The Grid

Tierr@_de_N@die: Even if we can not achieve this super-efficient individual structures, we should to approach as much as we can to it and to take advantage of a huge grid of batteries interconnected and controlled to store the energy when it is cheaper and cleaner and then deliver it when the demand rises.

The goal is to build a fleet of super-efficient individual structures, topped with solar panels, generating at least as much energy as they consume, avoiding the need for more expensive power plants that could lock in decades of GHGs from coal or natural gas.
